Trump says aircraft crash remarks received’t blunt investigation

President Trump stated Friday that his remarks at the investigation into the fatal midair collision previous this week close to Reagan Washington Nationwide Airport does no longer stand to have an effect on the probe, expressing self belief that his take at the state of affairs is correct.

Trump additionally doubled down on pointing palms on the helicopter pilots, pronouncing they have been flying too top on the time of the crash with the passenger jet, echoing a sentiment he stated previous within the day.

“It shouldn’t have been there. And they were other mistakes made too, I pointed them out too … they’ll still do an investigation, just to check it out,” Trump instructed journalists.

He additionally stated “no” when requested if he’s thinking about speculating in regards to the behavior of the Military pilots when he’s the commander in leader, once more blaming the previous president.

“This was all caused by bad rules, regulations and other things by Biden, the Biden administration and when you look at the way they ran things, in fact, if you look, we hired — one of the first things I told them to do is get talented people in those beautiful towers overlooking the runway,” Trump stated.

The president added although that he thinks there may be “very little risk” about flying within the U.S. and a repeat incident.
