Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas), co-chair of the Border Safety Caucus, mentioned on Tuesday the US “could” use drones towards the cartels if it supposed saving American lives.
NewsNation reported this weekend that cartels have approved the usage of weaponized drone explosives towards border patrol brokers and different U.S. regulation enforcement on the southern border.
In an interview Tuesday on NewsNation’s “The Hill,” anchor Blake Burman requested Babin whether or not he thinks the placement “will get to the purpose the place drones from the U.S. are used towards the cartels.
“It certainly could. I’m not saying it will,” Babin spoke back, noting that the U.S. is aware of the place the drug labs are and the place “a lot of these bad guys live.”
“It could come down to that,” he added.
