DHS the usage of polygraph assessments to seek out leakers: Reviews

The Division of Place of origin Safety (DHS) is the usage of polygraph assessments to determine who might be leaking knowledge to information retailers, with some company officers contending the disclosed knowledge has hampered immigration enforcement efforts, more than one retailers reported.

The U.S. Customs and Border Coverage (CBP), a part of the DHS, has up to now applied the so-called “lie detector” assessments on new hires on the company. 

Each Noem and President Trump’s Border czar, Tom Homan, have pinned the blame for immigration enforcement raids being published forward of time and the substandard U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) numbers of arrests on inside leakers. 

“Their job is dangerous enough. So we are going to address this very seriously,” Homan informed newshounds in early February. 

Noem stated in a video posted Friday on X that the DHS has known  two “criminal leakers” inside the division and that they’re going to be referred to the Division of Justice (DOJ) for “felony prosecutions.” 

“These individuals face up to 10 years in federal prison,” Noem stated. “We will find and root out all leakers. They will face prison time & we will get justice for the American people.”

It’s unclear what number of DHS employees were polygraphed to this point. It is usually no longer transparent if the 2 workers Noem referenced within the Friday video had been noticed with the assistance of the lie detector take a look at.
