Murkowski: Trump’s mass firings ‘do more harm than good’

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) argued that whilst she consents with President Trump’s management purpose to downsize the government, the present mass firings of staff throughout a number of departments and businesses are doing “more harm than good.”

The Alaska lawmaker stated she and her personnel are in touch with division officers and businesses, taking a look to determine the “impact of these terminations.” 

“Our goal is to forestall unnecessary harm—for people and Alaska’s federal priorities—but the response so far has been evasive and inadequate,” Murkowski stated.
