Noem assured in legality of housing migrants at Guantánamo Bay

Division of Hometown Safety Secretary Kristi Noem mentioned she’s assured that steps the federal government is taking to deport positive migrants from the U.S. mainland to Guantánamo Bay are felony.

In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Dana Bash said that Guantánamo Bay has been used up to now to deal with deported migrants however mentioned she does no longer consider the jail has housed migrants who had been detained on U.S. soil after crossing the border illegally.
