Republicans unveil invoice relocating NASA headquarters to Florida

Republican Florida Sens. Rick Scott and Ashley Moody presented a invoice Friday proposing the NASA headquarters, recently in Washington, be moved to Florida.

Titled Consolidating Aerospace Methods Successfully at Canaveral Act, known as the CAPE Canaveral Act, the law would relocate the NASA headquarters to Florida’s House Coast in Brevard County. The area properties the Kennedy House Middle and Cape Canaveral House Pressure Station.

Scott and Moody don’t seem to be the one lawmakers calling for the relocation of NASA’s headquarters to their state with the construction’s rent set to run out in 2028.

On Tuesday, a bunch of Ohio lawmakers in Congress driven for NASA headquarters to be moved from Washington, D.C., to Cleveland.
