The Space Oversight Committee’s Handing over on Govt Potency (DOGE) panel will convene its first listening to Wednesday morning, weighing mistaken bills and fraud.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who chairs the subcommittee, introduced the listening to closing week — zeroing in on “fraudsters, organized criminals, malign foreign actors and even corrupt government employees.”
“Every taxpayer dollar that goes to these criminals is one dollar less for hardworking Americans, who expect and deserve more from their government,” she mentioned in a remark. “The DOGE Subcommittee will work hand-in-hand with President Trump to root out waste, fix broken payment systems, and investigate fraud schemes.”
“This hearing is a first step towards creating a government that actually works for the American people,” Greene added.
The panel used to be created to paintings along side the Trump management’s Division of Govt Potency, which is led through tech billionaire Elon Musk.
The listening to is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. EST.
