Trump posts SpongeBob meme mocking federal employees after electronic mail inquiring for accomplishments

President Trump posted a SpongeBob meme mocking federal workers within the wake of an electronic mail despatched to the group of workers asking them to file their achievements prior to now week.

The meme that the president posted on his Fact Social platform options the Nickelodeon persona taking a look at a notepad with a heading that reads “Got Done Last Week.”

Pieces at the listing come with “Cried about Trump,” “Cried about Elon,” “Made it into the office for once,” “Read some emails” and “Cried about Trump and Elon some more.”

Over the weekend, Musk mentioned federal workers needed to describe their paintings efforts prior to now week via electronic mail.

“Consistent with President @realDonaldTrump’s instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week,” Musk mentioned at the social platform X on Saturday.

“Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation,” the tech billionaire endured.

“Please reply to this email with approx. 5 bullet points of what you accomplished last week and cc your manager. Please do not send any classified information, links or attachments,” mentioned the e-mail, which has been reviewed via The Hill. “Deadline is Monday at 11:59pmEST.”

Sen. Tina Smith (D-Minn.) criticized Musk over the message on social media.

“This is the ultimate d‑‑‑ boss move from Musk – except he isn’t even the boss, he’s just a d‑‑‑,” the Minnesota senator mentioned on X, replying to his previous put up.

“I bet a lot of people have had an experience like this with a bad boss – there’s an email in your inbox on Saturday night saying, ‘Prove to me your worthiness by Monday or else,’” Smith added in a 2nd put up. “I’m on the side of the workers, not the billionaire a‑‑hole bosses.”

The Hill has reached out to Nickelodeon for remark.
