Rep. Greg Murphy (R-N.C.) on Monday defended the budgets and personnel cuts on the Division of Veterans Affairs, as he stated he “can’t guarantee” veterans’ advantages and care can be immune from cuts.

In an interview with CNN’s Brianna Keilar, Murphy stated the cuts are very important to reining in executive spending and restructuring to verify the businesses paintings successfully for the American other folks.

“No, I can’t guarantee anything,” Murphy stated when requested if he may make sure that veterans’ advantages and care would now not be suffering from the cuts.

Murphy, who sits at the Area Veterans Affairs Committee, stated the problem impacts his district acutely.
