Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) stated there’s something he agreed with President Trump about, curtailing unlawful immigration and the glide of fentanyl into the rustic.

Sanders joined ABC Information’s “This Week,” the place host Johnathan Karl requested if there was once the rest Trump has executed proper.

“I think cracking down on fentanyl, making sure our borders are stronger,” Sanders spoke back. “Look, nobody thinks illegal immigration is appropriate, and I happen to think we need comprehensive immigration reform, but I don’t think it’s appropriate for people to be coming across the border illegally.”

Whilst the senator agreed with Trump on strengthening the rustic’s borders to offer protection to voters, he disagreed with the president’s mass deportation plan.

“He wants to deport 20 million people who are in this country who are undocumented,” Sanders stated. “Well, you do that, you destroy the entire country.”

“Because I got news for you, Trump’s billionaire friends are not going to pick the crops in California that feed us. They’re not going to work in meat packing houses,” he persevered. “That’s what undocumented people are doing.”

Sanders has emerged as probably the most left’s loudest voices in opposition to the Trump management and tech billionaire Elon Musk.

He’s introduced a talking excursion around the nation, now joined via Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), and titled Combating Oligarchy. Over the weekend, greater than 30,000 folks attended a rally they held in Denver.
