Protesters dispute Vance’s description of conflict on side road over Ukraine: 'No person was once chasing him'

The protesters who faced Vice President Vance disputed his model of what took place, claiming that “no one was chasing him.”

Video shared with WCPO in Cincinnati from some of the protesters, Ann Henry, confirmed the incident with Vance. Henry disputed Vance’s retelling of the tale, announcing they weren’t in search of the vice chairman, however quite ran into him, she mentioned.

“No one was chasing him,” she advised the opening.

In a put up at the social platform X, Vance mentioned he was once faced via pro-Ukraine protesters whilst he was once along with his 3-year-old daughter on Saturday.

“I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them leaving my toddler alone. (Nearly all of them agreed.),” Vance mentioned on X.

He mentioned it was once a most commonly respectful dialog however mentioned “if you’re chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re a s— person.”

The video shared with the opening confirmed the protesters asking questions in regards to the Russia-Ukraine warfare.

“We think it’s in the best interest of our [own people] and frankly in the best interest of the Ukrainians for the war to stop,” Vance mentioned.

He mentioned Russia “certainly” invaded Ukraine, which contradicts President Trump’s refusal to confess it.

The protesters mentioned the U.S. is promoting out Ukrainians because the uncommon mineral deal fell aside after a fiery assembly between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and because the Trump management holds conferences with Russian officers, now not Ukrainian ones.

Vance disagreed and mentioned the U.S. isn’t promoting out Ukrainians.

“I think that what we’re doing is we’re actually forcing a diplomatic settlement,” Vance mentioned.

Henry advised the opening that she was once satisfied Vance took the time to talk with them however needed he didn’t need to put up about it on-line.

“We all wanted it to be respectful and calm,” she mentioned. “We just really wanted to know what was really bothering us.”
